You can download the Embird embroidery software from this page and install it for your free trial period. To remove the trial limitations, purchase your registration number at Stitched With Grace's discounted prices. There is no charge to update from any earlier build of Embird 2012 through 2016. Just uninstall the old version from your computer, then download and install the current build. To upgrade from Embird 2010 or an earlier version of Embird, purchase an upgrade at a reduced price and wait until you receive your new passwords before you uninstall your old version. Then download and install the software from this page. We are sorry, our download frame is not working at present. You can go to the download page at the Embird company website to download the software. Be sure to come back here, though, and purchase your registration at our discounted prices! A plug-in is an application that will only operate if a functional installation of another application is present. In this case, all the other Embird embroidery applications require a functioning version of Embird Manager & Editor to operate. An upgrade is when you change from one version of Embird to another - for example from Embird 2006 to Embird 2008. This involves adding significant, new functions or major improvements in operation of the software. When an upgrade is published, all registered users of Embird may upgrade by paying an upgrade fee. The registration password for the previous version will not work on the newer version. An update is when Embird publishes patches to fix problems in the software, or refinements to improve the operation of existing functions. Updates are also referred to as "builds" so if you changed from Embird 2006 build 5 to Embird 2006 build 7, then you have installed an update. Updates are free to registered users. The Embird password you purchased for Embird 2008 or Embird 2010 will operate for all builds of Embird 2008 or 2010.
